This is not going to sound to yummy but I guess we're not trying to eat it, lol....
When you have hard wood floors the very best thing in the world to clean them with is vinegar & water. Maybe 3/4 water and 1/4 vinegar. It won't strip the natural beauty & shine from the floor and the vinegar does the dissinfecting. Guess what? It doesn't leave behind any kind of vinegar sell either.
