This was written for those people who constantly shun and put down our Soldiers for what they are out there fighting for. Our Freedom! Yours, mine, your children, your families, etc... This holds so much meaning and should be taken to heart. So when you put down those who are courageous enough to stand on the front lines and fight, ask yourself one question, "Are you brave enough?"
Brave Soldier
I fight for you everyday but are you brave enough to wear my tag? You stand and protest at my funeral Yet are you brave enough to wear my armor? You say my death is my punishment from God But are you brave enough to carry my bag? You abuse and misuse the freedom I so bravely fight for But again are you brave enough to hold my weapon?? As my family cries and misses me while I am off battling your enemies Are you brave enough to look them in the eye? When you walk in your everyday life without a care Are you brave enough to walk in my boots? When you are driving down the roads to your rallies Are you brave enough to drive my truck? As you hold your kids and kiss them goodnight and teach them to hate me Are you brave enough to lay your head on my pillow? As you drift to dream in your peaceful silence Are you brave enough to sleep in my hell? Everyday I look down at my tag and slip into my armor I pull on my boots put on my bag grab my weapon and I fight for you! I AM BRAVE ENOUGH!!!!
